It started with a simple question.
Why is everything made for still water?
If you love sparkling water, you’ve probably been there.
You want a little flavour. Maybe a hydration boost.
But the moment you add a powdered electrolyte, it foams up, the bubbles disappear, and your sparkling water just isn’t the same.
For years, we searched for something made specifically for sparkling water.
It didn’t exist.
The original idea was born more than eight years ago. As someone who has always found still water difficult to drink because of sensory preferences, sparkling water became the answer.
Over the years sparkling water became part of our everyday life. One thing never changed, it was always more enjoyable with a hint of flavour.
Adding electrolytes seemed like the obvious next step. Except every product on the market was made for still water.
Every powder foamed up, flattened the bubbles, or turned sparkling water into something it was never meant to be. After countless overflowing glasses and months of searching, one thing became clear.
No one had built an electrolyte specifically for sparkling water.
A liquid electrolyte made specifically for sparkling water.
One that keeps every bubble. Tastes refreshing. And feels like it belonged there from the beginning.
Creating it wasn't simple. Carbonation doesn't like having things added to it, so developing a liquid formula that mixed beautifully while keeping the bubbles took plenty of testing and refining. But we believed sparkling water lovers deserved something made just for them.
Today, that's exactly what sodé is. Light electrolytes. Made for sparkling water.
Because we don't believe you should have to choose between the drink you love and the hydration you want.
